Full Itinerary of Mekong Delta Tour Discovery - 7 Days 6 Nights
Pick up at Ho Chi Minh city. This morning we take a drive to Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh, home to the unique Cao Dai sect to observe the midday service. The religion is a hybrid of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Christianity.
After lunch, we will visit Hang Pagoda, Ba Den Mountain. With a height of 986m, this mountain is known as the "roof" of the Southern region. You take the cable car to conquer Ba Mountain. Visit Ba Temple, Thanh Long Cave, Huyen Khong Cave, Wind Cave, Ancient Tower.
After breakfast at hotel, we will drive to Ma Thien Lanh Valley. Lying among three large mountains: Mt Ba Den, Mt Heo and Mt Phung Mountain, the valley is a harmonious combination of nature, mountains, forests, rivers and lakes, has become a famous eco-tourism destination attracting many tourists.
Then we head to Dau Tieng lake. Take a canoe or boat to Nhim Island. It will be a great experience to surf on the lake, enjoying the vast expanse of nature, breathing in the fresh air, and admiring the distant mountain scenery.
Watching sunset at Dau Tieng Lake is an experience not to be missed when exploring the beautiful scenery of Tay Ninh. At this time, Dau Tieng Lake appears like a peaceful, watercolor painting.
Overnight at Tay Ninh
After breakfast, we drive to Dong Thap.
Our first destination is Tram Chim National Park - a wetland area, classified in Vietnam's special-use forest system. There are many precious bird species here, especially the red-crowned crane, an extremely rare bird species, listed in the Red Book.
You will have the opportunity to experience the feeling of stagnation when surfing on water waves admiring ghost rice fields, melaleuca forests, pink lotus, white lotus... You will feel like immersing yourself in wild nature, freely admiring it. Look at the special habitats of Tram Chim according to the seasons.
Arriving at Dong Sen Thap Muoi Tourist Area, you will have lunch at the destination with river specialties.
Take pictures with the beautiful scenery of immense lotus fields, fragrant flowers blooming; Enjoy the peaceful scenery of the country. Visit Go Thap Relics Area (special national relic site) which is a place of special cultural, historical and archaeological value.
Visitors have the opportunity to learn and explore the brilliant Oc Eo civilization in history and the events of the ancient Funan Kingdom that once existed on this land.
Overnight in Dong Thap
Our car and tour guide pick you up at your hotel to depart for Lai Vung. You will visit the extremely beautiful Lai Vung tangerine garden on the occasion of Lunar New Year. Here you can enjoy Hong Tangerines - one of the specialty fruits of Dong Thap, enjoy fresh tangerines at garden.
After lunch, we will drive to Can Tho.
Check in hotel in Can Tho and relax for the rest of the day.
Overnight in Can Tho
Pick up guests at Co Bac Pier (Binh Thuy). You wear life jackets and move to the boat across Con Son.
When you arrive at Con Son Community Tourism Village, you will be surprised by a rich garden, blessed with fertile land and alluvial deposits all year round. Coming here, you can visit extremely attractive tourist attractions.

Early morning today, we will take the boat trip to visit the famous Cai Rang Floating Market with the busy sense right at the time. This is a biggest floating market in Mekong Delta where we can see the daily life and local people selling their products on boats.
Our next destionation is Bang Lang Stork Sanctuary. Bang Lang stork garden is considered a perfect place to relax because it possesses a rich ecosystem. To fully admire the beauty of the stork garden by the river, you can also choose to watch storks at sunset. At this time, the storks were following the flock and swooping down on tree branches to find their nests.
Overnight stay in Can Tho
After breakfast, we depart Can Tho for Vinh Long. The program will start with a quick visit of Cai Be. Then, visit of the local workshop to see how to make rice paper, coconut, pop-rice... Enjoy some sweets with a cup of hot tea.
Then, the rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals to enjoy the peaceful time. Come to visit the local garden, we will enjoy some fruits with cups of tea when listening to the traditional music.
Lunch is served at local house.
After lunch, we’ll come to Tan Phong island. Walking on village paths to see the local daily life: orchard, school, church, pagoda, traditional houses...
On the way, we can make some stops to see how they wave the dried water-hyacinth to make many products: baskets, bags, hats, wallets, shoes...
Then we transfer to our vehicle to drive to Ho Chi Minh city. Drop off at your hotel.
