This morning, at 8 AM, get picked up by your personal guide and driver at your hotel stay in Ho Chi Minh City. We will then venture out for our exciting exploration. We will drive to Tay Ninh (approx. 2.5 hours driving) and visit the sacred Cao Dai Temple. The religion preached here is a hybrid of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Christianity. Discover the unique religion and learn about their beliefs, culture, and organization. Spend a sometime here to see the midday service before moving to Ba Den Cable car station and get our chance to experience a scenic cable car ride to Ba Den Mountain Peak with panorama views from up high. We then start our discovery with a walking tour around the complex to see beautiful pagodas and a magnificent Buddha statue at Ba Den Mountain (Black Virgin Mountain). Up here, enjoy a scrumptious buffet lunch at one of their restaurants.
In the early afternoon, we will return to the station and get back on our vehicle. Along our way back to Ho Chi Minh City, we proceed the tour to visit Cu Chi Tunnels, which is 50 km far from the city centre. These are an immense network of connecting underground tunnels that were the location of military campaigns during American wars. This area is now a “should-not-be-missed” site for all visitors traveling to Vietnam. We will watch a short introduction video showing the foundation, activities… of Cu Chi tunnels and people lived here in the past then we will crawl all the safe parts of the tunnel system; enjoy some special cassava and tea that served free in the tour. Later, we can go to the shooting range where we can try to fire real bullets: (costs US$3/bullet) or free for shopping at the souvenir shops. After the tour, you will be escorted safely back to your hotel stay for overnight accommodation. Service ends at your hotel’s lobby in Ho Chi Minh City.
