Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival (D)
Meet your private guide and driver upon pick up from the airport who’ll take you to the hotel. Feast on the welcome dinner and stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Mekong Delta – Cai Be Floating Market (B, L)
After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick you up for your trip beginning with a two-hour ride from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) to the Mekong Delta. Take a boat cruise to Cai Be Floating Market (Can Tho province); stopover at a local house to watch how locals make coconut candies, rice-popcorn, rice-paper, and rice wine. Spend time enjoying fresh tropical fruits on Tan Phong Islet. Break for lunch at a local home. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3: Cu Chi Tunnels – Da Nang (B, L)
Savor breakfast at the hotel, and then visit the Cu Chi Tunnel complex for fascinating and informative insight into how Viet Cong lived and struggled in this underground military base. After lunch at a local restaurant, get to the airport for a flight to Da Nang, visit the famous Golden Bridge in the city and witness the quiet Han river at night. Stay overnight at the hotel in Danang.
Day 4: Da Nang – My Son Sanctuary (Quang Nam) (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, a visit to the My Son Sanctuary is a unique experience that should not be missed while exploring the beautiful city of Hoi An: Wander around the lost Champa Kingdom dating back to the 3rd century, visit the temples and learn more about the fascinating history behind this sanctuary of Hinduism. The afternoon is your free time and overnight in Da Nang.
Day 5: Da Nang – Hoi An (Quang Nam) (B)
Transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town. Contact Ann Tailor for a free tailor-made item of clothing. We have a walking tour in Hoi An town – the World Culture Heritage of Vietnam. This picturesque riverside town still owns a wealth of century’s old traditional architectural style. The influences of Asian cultures can be found in many old houses.
In the afternoon, we join a cooking class to learn awesome recipes, make savory food and have great insight into the local culinary culture. Stay overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6: Hoi An – Food Tour (B, L)
Discover Hoi An’s countryside by bicycles and its local cuisine. We will pass green rice-paddies to visit a local village. Try the traditional Hoi An specialties, especially Cao Lau. Learn how to make the local delicacy – White Rose. Stay overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An – Da Nang – Hanoi City Tour (B, L)
After having breakfast, check out the hotel and transfer to Da Nang for a flight to Hanoi. Hanoi is renowned as the thousand-year capital in Vietnam. The city has a rich culture remained through time to time. When you’re in Hanoi, take a visit Hoan Kiem Lake; But Tower, Pen-Shaped Tower; Dai Nghien, Ink Stand; The Huc Bridge, The Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam;… Have a cyclo ride around Hanoi Ancient Town. Stay overnight in Hanoi.
Day 8: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh) (B, L, D)
After breakfast, the shuttle bus will pick you up at the hotel and then depart for Ha Long Bay, one of seven wonders in the world. Discover exquisite scenery, majestic limestone islands, emerald water, seductively scattered with grottoes and caves of the stunning Ha Long Bay by cruise. Stay overnight on the Junk Cruise.
Day 9: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (Quang Ninh) (B, L)
Get up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise moment, the best time in Ha Long Bay with a cup of tea or coffee and then have breakfast. Afterward, cruise around and explore the intricate cave systems (Sung Sot cave) and admire the newly-discovered Dau Go grotto where wooden stakes were set deep inside the cave to struggle with the invading Mongol army. After a savory lunch, return to Hanoi and overnight there.
Day 10: Hanoi – Departure (B)
Have breakfast and free time until your transfer to the Noi Bai International Airport for your departure flight, finish your discovery tour.
