Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City (D)
After pickup from Tan Son Nhat International Airport by your private guide and driver, get comfortable in an air-conditioned vehicle to the hotel. Savor the warm dinner and stay overnight at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City Explore (B, L, D)
After having breakfast at your hotel, spend a half-day visiting the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President Ngo Dinh Diem of South Vietnam during the period from the 1960s to 1975, and some other French colonial buildings including the Saigon Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, etc. Then, return to the hotel for lunch.
In the afternoon, we end the Saigon tour with a visit to Ben Thanh Market, a bustling shopping area with a variety of products such as clothes, shoes, food, fresh fruits, souvenirs, etc.
In the evening, have a romantic dinner at the Bon Sai cruise on Saigon River.
Day 3: Saigon – My Tho – Ben Tre – Food Tour by Motorbike (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and drive to Mekong Delta. We will enjoy a cruise along the Mekong River to one of the islands in the town of My Tho. Listening to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music” performed by the residents while drinking some tea sweetened with bee’s honey and fresh tropical fruits are “must-try” things when traveling to the vibrant Southern Region of Vietnam.
Then cruise through small canals by a paddle-boat which provides tourists with an amazing look into how the locals make coconut candies. After that, have lunch of a local specialty – “Elephant Ear Fish” combined with other dishes. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
Experiencing the food tour by motorbike around Saigon in the evening is the best way for travelers to try the local cuisine as well as the culture of Vietnam. Spend an evening dining as the local people do and taste authentically prepared dishes that you cannot find anywhere else. Stay overnight in Saigon (B, D).
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh – Da Nang – Food Tour with Seafood
In the morning, you will have breakfast at the hotel, then check out and transfer to the Tan Son Nhat International Airport for a flight to Da Nang. In the afternoon, your guide will pick you up by motorbike then you have chance to try as many dishes of fresh seafood as you can such as crab sautéed with tamarind (cua rang muoi), pickled squid in vinegar (muc kim nhung giam), sea snails sautéed with coconut (oc huong xao dua), etc. at a restaurant in Da Nang – The City of Ocean and Home of Fishermen. Return to hotel and overnight in Da Nang.
Day 5: Da Nang – Marble Mountain – Hoi An (Quang Nam) (B)
The Marble Mountain, a popular sightseeing location in Da Nang, is a cluster of five marble and limestone hills which are named after five elements including metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. It is known as a famous pilgrimage site with peaks, caves, temples, and tunnels. Your day tour starts with climbing the stone steps carved into Marble Mountain to explore caves, grottoes, and a Buddhist Pagoda and enjoy the panoramic view from the top of the mountain.
Afterward, visit Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, a famous traditional village of Da Nang for fine art stone engraving products situated at the foot of Marble Mountains. We will get to Hoi An Ancient Town (Quang Nam province) and visit Ann Tailor for a free tailor-made item of clothing.
Day 6: Hoi An (Quang Nam) – Food Tour by Bicycle – Ho Chi Minh (B, L)
After breakfast at the hotel in Hoi An, you will explore Hoi An’s countryside by bicycles and its local cuisine. We will go through green rice-paddies to visit a local village. Savor some traditional Hoi An specialties, especially Cao Lau and learn how to make White Rose – the local delicacy. After that, take a flight back to Ho Chi Minh City and overnight there.
Day 7: Ho Chi Minh City – Departure (B)
Breakfast at the hotel and free time until your driver picks up and transfers you to the airport for departure flight.
